Council of Elders nominee

[with comments]     Filed under Council of Elders

"It is an honor to be nominated by your peers for the Council of Elders," was the first part of an email I received last month.

Twice in the last 13 years I left my name in for consideration as a candidate for the "international" representative’s seat on the UCG Council of Elders (CoE). I was nominated this year and submitted a questionnaire for my peers to read in assessing my potential contribution to the CoE. Now that is has been distributed to all UCG elders prior to next month’s ballot, you can read my 2008 CoE nominee questionnaire.

I was nominated also two years ago for the "international" representative’s seat. My 2006 CoE nominee questionnaire is available as well.

Comment from Carl Rothenbacher:

Good luck on your COE nomination. I read your document, and I liked your points about the need for "spiritual immigration."
