Feast of Tabernacles 2008, Day 4

We had a bit of a surprise when we woke up this morning.

After a rainy day yesterday we woke up to some cool temperatures this morning, Schluchsee Feast site with just a touch of frost on the ground and some fog hanging over Schluchsee lake. It is supposed to be sunny again today through Monday, but with cooler temperatures to start off the day. However, the highs should reach around 18-19 C (about 65 F) by Sunday, so it will be some delightful fall weather for this area, which is about 3000 feet above sea level. The fog usually burns off by mid-morning, and with the sunshine you don’t need a jacket throughout most of the afternoon. Today’s official activities are all indoors – the youth bowling activity and a senior citizens interactive Bible study. In the evening one of our members will be showing his slides from the 2007 Feast of Tabernacles in Jordan.
