More Stops on My Journey

This Pentecost weekend means a few more stops on my journey in serving the members in the German-language region.

On Saturday I get up about 5:30 a.m. and I will need to leave my apartment for the Siegburg/Bonn train station at about 7:30 a.m. My train to the Cologne main station departs at 8:14 a.m. In Cologne I change trains for Berlin Spandau station, and if the train is on time it will arrive at 12:53 p.m. From the Berlin Spandau station I take the local "S-Bahn" one stop in the direction of downtown. At my stop it is a short walk to the hotel where we will have a Bible Study. I should arrive there by about 1:15 p.m., which gives me time to check in (I am spending the night there) before the 2 p.m. Bible Study.

After the Bible Study I will visit with members until about 10 p.m., then return to the hotel.

On Sunday morning my train from Berlin Spandau station departs for the Hamburg main station at 10:27 a.m. It is a 90 minute ride with no intervening stops. From the Hamburg main station I take the subway for about 20 minutes to the Niendorf market station, where we have Pentecost services in a meeting room rented in a community center. The service will begin at 2 p.m. After services I can stay until about 5 p.m., then I will need to head back via subway to the Hamburg main station where I catch a train at 5:46 p.m. for the Cologne main station. In Cologne I again change trains for a local train to the Bonn/Siegburg station, where I should arrive at 10:28 p.m. After getting my car from the car park and driving home, I should be back in my apartment at about 11:00 p.m. tomorrow night.

Just a few more stops on my journey. :-)
