"Kiss me, I’m Irish!"

Well, I am half-Irish, but the quote is for my grandson Dylan.

"Little" Dylan was born on Wednesday evening (February 9) at 11 p.m. Grandson Dylan I arrived two days after his birth to make acquaintances with my fourth grandchild. We are getting along quite well! "Little" as a descriptive word for Dylan is relative since he weighed 10 pounds, 10 ounces (4319 Gr) – practically a toddler at birth as one of our friends said. Dylan is daughter Rachel’s fourth child and her second one that weighed more than ten pounds. Since Rachel and her husband Eric have two older boys and their younger sister, Dylan was supposed to be a younger sister for 3 year old granddaughter Maia. When he was born his parents were really expecting a girl (they chose not to be informed beforehand what the unborn child’s sex was). So they did not have a boy’s name picked yet, but that was decided the next day. On Dylan’s little green shirt in the photo it says "Kiss me, I’m Irish!" – which his brothers and sister are happy to do. Monica and I are here for a few days to help out with the household chores while Rachel recovers, and currently I am the main driver for our 9, 6 and 3 year old grandchildren Sean, Adrian and Maia and their various trips to school, pre-school, karate, gymnastics, cub scouts and other activities.
