That was my reaction after taking my son Ted’s recommendation for a sauce on my burger.

Son Ted invited his mother and me to an unusual restaurant in Dallas called "The Twisted Root". When you first walk into the place you wonder where you have landed – it is kind of a laid-back place. The food is served on trays and a roll of paper towels serves as your napkin. The specialty on their menu is burgers, and a burger with buffalo sauce was recommended so I took the recommendation. Actually I had never heard of buffalo sauce before but I quickly learned how hot this particular sauce is – at least for me. When something is spicy it doesn’t take long for me to start sweating and that was the case while enjoying my burger. The back of my head was drenched under my Germany chamber of commerce cap!
