January 2, 2017: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] in 2016 was 9 percent lower than in 2015. Regular mail income was 25 percent higher, and Holy Day offerings decreased by 15 percent. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 15.1 percent of UCG-Germany's regular mail income in 2016.

January 9, 2017: During the year 2016 the "Gute Nachrichten" website had 424,432 visitors, 57 percent more than in 2015.

January 16, 2017: The January-February issue Gute Nachrichten, January 2017 issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9193 readers in 25 countries, a 4.9 percent increase over the 2016 January-February issue. The magazine was mailed to 7549 subscribers in Germany, 764 subscribers in Switzerland and 713 subscribers in Austria. A unique cover was used to highlight the current discussion in Europe on the "Brexit".

January 25, 2017: For the year 2016 the Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["UCG-Germany"] distributed a total of 63,500 print publications in the German language, 3.3 percent more than in 2015. The booklets requested most often were "Nach dem Tode – was dann?" ["What happens after death?"], "Jesus Christus: Die wahre Geschichte" ["Jesus Christ: The real story"] and "Biblische Prophezeiung: Ein Blick in Ihre Zukunft?" ["You Can Understand Bible Prophecy"]. In addition, 2924 ebooks were downloaded from the Apple Store and Amazon. The booklet "Das Buch der Offenbarung verständlich erklärt" ["The Book of Revelation Unveiled"] was downloaded 349 times.

February 2, 2017: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the first month of 2017 was 37.5 percent higher than in January 2016. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 8.7 percent of UCG-Germany's income in January.

February 9, 2017: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces its fifth German-language "Beyond Today" telecast, German Beyond Today telecast Wer sind die zwei Zeugen? ["Who are the Two Witnesses"]. UCOG President Paul Kieffer recorded the telecast at the United Church of God Home Office in Cincinnati and UCG-Germany did the film editing.

February 20, 2017: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] adds 40 MP3 sermons to its sermon website for members and church attendees. 531 recorded sermons are currently available for listening and download.

February 28, 2017: In January and February the MP3 sermons posted to the Gute Nachrichten website were downloaded 343 times. 3 sermons are available for public access and a new sermon is posted each week.

March 7, 2017: In the first two months of 2017 UCG-Germany distributed 455 ebooks via Amazon, the Google Play Store and Smashwords, including 325 downloads via the Apple store. The most requested booklet was "Das Buch der Offenbarung verständlich erklärt" ["The Book of Revelation Unveiled"] with 83 downloads.

March 14, 2017: The March-April issue Gute Nachrichten, March 2017 issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9305 readers in 25 countries, a 5.3 percent increase over the 2016 March-April issue. The magazine was mailed to 7626 subscribers in Germany, 778 subscribers in Switzerland and 736 subscribers in Austria.

March 21, 2017: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes German video sermon ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another video sermon, Kann Gott uns Menschen verstehen? ["Can God understand us as human beings?"]. UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete gave the sermon in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

March 31, 2017: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the first three months of 2017 was 13.5 percent higher than in the same period last year. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 17.5 percent of UCG-Germany's income in January-March.

April 5, 2017: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes German video sermon ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another video sermon, Der wichtige Aspekt im Strafgesetz des Alten Testaments ["The important aspect in the penal code of the Old Testament"]. UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete gave the sermon in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

April 12, 2017: 116 people met at seven locations to keep the Passover on April 9. On the first day of Unleavened Bread, 132 people attended services in six locations: Dormagen (37), Hamburg (13), Mörfelden (22), Mühldorf (25), Plauen (7) and Winterthur in Switzerland (28). The offering was 16,708 €, which was 25.2% higher than last year's offering.

April 18, 2017: On the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, 152 people attended services in seven locations: Berlin (11), Dormagen (29), Hamburg (11), Mörfelden (21), Munich (23), Oberstaufen (32) and Winterthur in Switzerland (25). The offering (7604 €) was 10.7% less than in 2016.

April 25, 2017: United Christian Outreach Germany announces a special fundraiser to provide $1000 for Armenien UCG member Mnazakan Poghossjan to attend this year's Feast of Tabernacles in Schluchsee, Germany.

May 9, 2017: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United German Beyond Today telecast Church of God-Germany"] produces its sixth German-language "Beyond Today" telecast, 7 Prophezeiungen vor Christi Wiederkehr ["7 Prophecies before Christ's return"]. UCOG President Paul Kieffer recorded the telecast at the United Church of God Home Office in Cincinnati and UCG-Germany did the film editing.

May 16, 2017: The May-Juni issue Gute Nachrichten, May 2017 issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9394 readers in 25 countries, a 5.5 percent increase over the 2016 May-Juni issue. The magazine was mailed to 7669 subscribers in Germany, 795 subscribers in Switzerland and 741 subscribers in Austria.

May 31, 2017: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the first five months of 2017 was 5.1 percent higher than in the same period last year. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 16.2 percent of UCG-Germany's income in January-May.

June 6, 2017: 193 people met in seven locations in the German-language region on Pentecost weekend. 81 people met in Arnheim (Netherlands), and the other locations were Berlin (10), Hamburg (9), Mörfelden (23), Plauen (5), Rosenheim (26) and Winterthur in Switzerland (34). The offering in the German-language region was 10,910 €, an 11.4 percent increase in comparison to last year's offering. The offering for the 3 spring Holy Days (Unleavened Bread, Pentecost) was 11.6 percent higher than last year.

June 13, 2017: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces its seventh "Beyond Today" telecast in German, German Beyond Today telecast Engel: Diener Gottes ["Angels: God's servants"]. A volunteer team translated the original English text and the scripture images, provided the German voice for the main "Beyond Today" speaker and dubbed the audio.

June 21, 2017: The United Christian Outreach Germany special fundraiser to provide $1000 for Armenien UCG member Mnazakan Poghossjan to attend this year's Feast of Tabernacles in Schluchsee, Germany has reached 50 percent of the goal.

June 30, 2017: In the first six months of 2017 UCG-Germany distributed 1477 ebooks via Amazon, the Google Play Store and Smashwords, including 481 downloads via the Apple store. The most requested booklet was "Das Buch der Offenbarung verständlich erklärt" ["The Book of Revelation Unveiled"] with 263 downloads.

July 5, 2017: The Vereinte German video sermon Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another video sermon, Die erste Liebe ["The first love"]. UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete gave the sermon in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

July 12, 2017: The July-August issue Gute Nachrichten, July 2017 issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9531 readers in 25 countries, a 6.4 percent increase over the 2016 July-August issue. The magazine was mailed to 7751 subscribers in Germany, 816 subscribers in Switzerland and 760 subscribers in Austria.

July 19, 2017: The "Beyond Today" film team from the United Church of God Home Office arrived in Berlin to begin a 10 day trip to record 6 English-language and 3 German-language "Beyond Today" telecasts. Film locations are in Berlin, Lutherstadt Wittenberg, the Wartburg castle, Aachen and Brussels, Belgium. United Church of God-Germany staff member Jesmina Allaoua made the logistical arrangements for the trip and obtained film permits for the desired locations.

July 28, 2017: The Vereinte German video sermon Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another video sermon, Der Weg, die Wahrheit und das Leben ["The way, the truth and life"]. UCOG President Paul Kieffer gave the sermon in Mörfelden near Frankfurt.

August 7, 2017: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the first seven months of 2017 was 0.3 percent lower than in the same period last year. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 16.2 percent of UCG-Germany's income in January-July.

August 14, 2017: Fundraising thermometer The United Christian Outreach Germany special fundraiser to provide $1000 for Armenien UCG member Mnazakan Poghossjan to attend this year's Feast of Tabernacles in Schluchsee, Germany is now fully fundedl. Mr. Poghassjan speaks fluent German and is the only member of the United Church of God in Armenia and has only limited income. Without additional financial assistance from the church, he would never be able to attend the Feast.

August 23, 2017: The Vereinte German video sermon Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another video sermon, Unsere Welt wird Babylon immer ähnlicher ["Our world is becoming increasingly like Babylon"]. UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete gave the sermon in Munich.

September 12, 2017: The Gute Nachrichten, September 2017 issue September-October issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9676 readers in 25 countries, a 7.0 percent increase over the 2016 September-October issue. The magazine was mailed to 7860 subscribers in Germany, 836 subscribers in Switzerland and 780 subscribers in Austria.

September 21, 2017: 124 people met at six locations in the German-language region for church services today on the Feast of Trumpets. 9 people met for services in Berlin. In Dormagen the attendance was 40. 21 people met in Mörfelden (near Frankfurt), and 20 were in attendance in Winterthur, Switzerland. In Rosenheim the attendance was 28. 6 people attended the afternoon service in Hamburg.

September 30, 2017: 108 people met at four locations in the German-language region for church services today on the Day of Atonement. In Dormagen the attendance was 28. 23 people met in Mörfelden (near Frankfurt), 27 were in attendance Munich, and 12 people attended the service in Stuttgart. In Winterthur, Switzerland the attendance was 18.

October 5, 2017: 188 people from 9 countries meet in Schluchsee in the southern Black Forest to observe the eight day biblical Feast of Tabernacles.

October 13, 2017: The offering statistics for the Feast of Tabernacles and Last Great Day in the German-language region have been finalized. The offering on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles was 10,888 €, 2.0 percent more than last year. The offering (11,929 €) on the Last Great Day was 17.9 higher than 2016. The total offering on the seven annual Holy Days in 2017 was 15.1 percent higher than last year.

October 20, 2017: The UCG-Germany National Council approved budget for 2018 includes total expenses of 235,000 €. Income is projected to be 195,000 €, with the deficit being paid from cash reserves. The budget provides funds to maintain circulation of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine at 10,000 subscribers and to print one new booklet and reprint three current booklets.

November 13, 2017: The Gute Nachrichten, November 2017 issue November-December issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9721 readers in 25 countries, a 6.6 percent increase over the 2016 November-December issue. The magazine was mailed to 7860 subscribers in Germany, 842 subscribers in Switzerland and 790 subscribers in Austria.

November 20, 2017: UCG-Germany begins preparations to have its websites updated to be in compliance with the new European Union Privacy Policy, scheduled to take effect on May 25, 2018.

November 28 2017: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces its eighth German- language "Beyond Today" telecast, German Beyond Today  telecast Der Himmel auf Erden? ["Heaven on Earth?"]. UCOG President Paul Kieffer recorded the telecast at the United Church of God Home Office in Cincinnati and UCG-Germany did the film editing.

December 5, 2017: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the period January- November 2017 declined by 6.2 percent compared to same period last year. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 20.4 percent of UCG- Germany's regular donation income in the first eleven months of the year.

December 12, 2017: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes German video sermon ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another video sermon, Wenn Gottes Volk betet ["When God's people pray"]. UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete gave the sermon in Oberndorf, Austria.

December 21, 2017: At the end of the year, 18 ebooks produced by the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG- Germany] are available in the Apple iTunes store, the Google Play Store, via the ebook distributor Smashwords, the European ebook distributor Xinxii and German ebook distributors Thalia, bücher.de and Weltbild. 24 booklets are available in print, as well as all 12 lessons of the Bible Study Course.

December 28, 2017: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] now has 22 video sermons, 8 "Beyond Today" videos and a festival video available on its YouTube channel. The videos have been viewed 106,074 times, including 35,000 views for the "Beyond Today" program titled "7 Prophecies prior to Christ's return".
