Regular mail income was 6.6 percent higher, and Holy Day offerings increased by 0.1 percent. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 18.8 percent of UCG-Germany's regular mail income in 2019.

January 9, 2020 During the year 2019 the "Gute Nachrichten" website had 580,782 visitors, 17.1 percent more than in 2019.

January 15, 2020: Gute Nachrichten, January 2020 issue The January-February issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9878 readers in 25 countries, a 1.5 percent increase over the 2019 January-February issue. The magazine was mailed to 7902 subscribers in Germany, 915 subscribers in Switzerland and 859 subscribers in Austria.

January 22, 2020: For the year 2019 the Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["UCG-Germany"] distributed a total of 68,015 print publications in the German language, 70 fewer items than in 2018. The decline was mainly due to no insert cards being used until clarification was obtained on the use of gift subscription cards in compliance with the revised European Union data protection law. In addition, 3658 ebooks were downloaded from the Apple Store and Amazon.

March 21, 2020: As a result of the corona pandemic, the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] has canceled all worship services in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Services are being streamed every Sabbath via an audio link and via Zoom.

April 22, 2020: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] cancels its scheduled "Open House" church services in Vienna, Winterthur and Plauen, scheduled for April and May. Travel and lodging restrictions because of the corona pandemic made the cancellations necessary.

Morning and afternoon services were streamed via the internet. The total offering on the three spring Holy Days this year was 7.2% higher than last year.

June 13, 2020: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] conducted its first Sabbath worship service since mid-March when services were canceled because of the corona pandemic. With social distancing for seating, face coverings required while moving within the hall and no singing allowed, services were held today in Mörfelden, near Frankfurt.

June 20, 2020: With no halls available today for regularly scheduled Sabbath services, the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] streamed today's service via an audio link and via Zoom. Jan Hammer gave the sermonette from Stuttgart and elder Martin Fekete gave the main sermon from Oberndorf, Austria.

The magazine was mailed to 7987 subscribers in Germany, 952 subscribers in Switzerland and 881 subscribers in Austria.

August 14, 2020: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] institutes a direct mail campaign to promote its bi-monthly publication "Intern" [German version of "United News"]. 280 "Gute Nachrichten" subscriber were offered "Intern" in a promotional letter with a sample issue and a return order card. The initial response rate was 12 percent.

August 28, 2020: The German embassy in Armenia has informed Armenien United Church of God member Mnazakan Poghossjan that it will not issue him a visa to attend this year's Feast of Tabernacles in Titisee, Germany, as Armenia is classified a Covid-19 high risk area. The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] had issued Mnazakan a formal invitation to attend the feast.

Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 18.9 percent of UCG-Germany's income.

September 11, 2020: Gute Nachrichten, September 2020 issue The September-October issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 10,005 readers in 25 countries, a 2.1 percent increase over the 2019 September-October issue. The magazine was mailed to 7976 subscribers in Germany, 958 subscribers in Switzerland and 891 subscribers in Austria.

September 19, 2020: 126 people met at six locations in the German-language region for church services today on the Feast of Trumpets. 8 people met for services in Berlin. In Dormagen the attendance was 25. 31 people met in Mörfelden (near Frankfurt), and 22 were in attendance in Winterthur, Switzerland. In Rosenheim the attendance was 32. 8 people attended the afternoon service in Hamburg. The offering in the German-language region was 12,513 €, a 5.1 percent increase in comparison to last year's offering.

September 28, 2020: 97 people met at five locations in the German-language region for church services today on the Day of Atonement. In Dormagen the attendance was 31. 19 people met in Mörfelden (near Frankfurt), 24 were in attendance Munich, and 13 people attended the service in Stuttgart. In Winterthur, Switzerland the attendance was 10. The offering in the German-language region was 8336 €, a 4.7 percent increase in comparison to last year's offering.

October 1, 2020: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] German video commentary produces another short video commentary, Das Laubhüttenfest ["The Feast of Tabernacles"]. UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete recorded the commentary at his home in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

October 10, 2020: Today's Last Great Day services conclude the eight day biblical Feast of Tabernacles season, with 147 people from 5 countries having met since October 3 in Titisee in the southern Black Forest. Seating by households with social distancing and face coverings required while moving within the hall were required for use of the meeting hall. Over 100 foreign guests were unable to attend because of space limitations.

October 17, 2020: The offering statistics for the Feast of Tabernacles and Last Great Day in the German-language region have been finalized. The offering on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles was 12,181 €, 22.4 percent less than last year. The offering (14,282 €) on the Last Great Day was 6.5 percent higher than 2019. The total offering on the seven annual Holy Days in 2020 was 1.0 percent higher than last year.

November 19, 2020: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] continues its direct mail campaign to promote its bi-monthly publication "Intern" [German version of "United News"]. Another 100 "Gute Nachrichten" subscribers were offered "Intern" in a promotional letter with a sample issue and a return order card.

December 3, 2020: In the first eleven months of 2020 UCG-Germany distributed 2319 ebooks via Amazon, the Google Play Store and Smashwords. The most requested booklet was "Das Buch der Offenbarung verständlich erklärt" ["The Book of Revelation Unveiled"] with 478 downloads.

December 18, 2020: The UCG-Germany National Council approved budget for 2021 includes total expenses of 292,000 €. Income is projected to be 236,000 €, with the deficit being paid from cash reserves. The budget provides funds to maintain circulation of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine at 10,000 subscribers and to print two new booklets and reprint two current booklets.
