January 4, 2022: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] in 2021 was 12.4 percent higher than in 2020. Regular mail income was 15.6 percent higher, and Holy Day offerings increased by 5.4 percent. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 16 percent of UCG-Germany's regular mail income in 2021.

January 10, 2022: For the year 2021 the Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["UCG-Germany"] distributed a total of 72,980 print publications in the German language, 80 publications less than in 2020. In addition, 2991 ebooks were downloaded via Amazon, the Google Play Store and Smashwords.

January 17, 2022: Gute Nachrichten, January 2022 issue The January-February issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9,870 readers in 25 countries, a 1.8 percent decrease from the 2021 January-February issue. The magazine was mailed to 7874 subscribers in Germany, 912 subscribers in Switzerland and 887 subscribers in Austria.

January 25, 2022: German video commentary The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another short video commentary, Ja, es gibt Leben im Universum! ["Yes, there is life in the universe!"]. UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete recorded the commentary at his home in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

February 4, 2022: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the first month of 2022 was 54.3 percent lower than last year's income in January 2021, as several large donations last year went unmatched. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 9.6 percent of UCG-Germany's income in January.

February 11, 2022: The Church Jesus Built, German version The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["UCG-Germany"] reprints its booklet, "Die Kirche Jesu Christi: Wahrheit und Fälschung" ["The Church Jesus Built"]. UCG-Germany updated the content for the revised German spelling rules. UCG-Germany currently has 28 booklets available in print version.

February 18, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] adds 20 MP3 sermons to its sermon website for members and church attendees. 746 recorded sermons are currently available for listening and download.

February 25, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces its 17th German-language "Beyond Today" telecast, German Beyond Today telecast Wenn Dämonen kein Hirngespinst sind ["When Demons are real"]. UCOG President Paul Kieffer recorded the telecast at the United Church of God Home Office in Cincinnati and UCG-Germany did the film editing.

March 4, 2022: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the month of February was 1.7 percent higher than last year's income in February 2021. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 14.1 percent of UCG-Germany's income in February.

March 10, 2022: In the first 2 months of the year, UCG-Germany distributed 495 ebooks via Amazon, the Google Play Store and Smashwords. The most requested booklet was "Das Buch der Offenbarung verständlich erklärt" ["The Book of Revelation Unveiled"] with 130 downloads.

March 17, 2022: The March-April issue of the Gute Nachrichten, March 2022 issue "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9,749 readers in 25 countries, a 2.7 percent decrease from the 2021 March-April issue. The magazine was mailed to 7820 subscribers in Germany, 880 subscribers in Switzerland and 861 subscribers in Austria.

March 28, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes German video commentary ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another short video commentary, Gottes Treue zu uns Menschen ["God's faithfulness to us"]. UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete recorded the commentary at his home in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

April 4, 2022: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the month of March was 37.1 percent less than last year's income in March 2021. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 22.7 percent of UCG-Germany's income in March.

April 16, 2022: 84 people met at four locations to keep the Passover on April 14. Today on the first day of Unleavened Bread, 134 people attended services in five locations: Berlin (8), Dormagen (45), Göming, Austria (26), Mörfelden (34) and Winterthur in Switzerland (21). The offering was 14,477 €, which was an increase of 42.3% over last year's offering.

April 22, 2022: On the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, 79 people attended services in four locations: Hamburg (6), Mörfelden (19), Munich (25) and Winterthur in Switzerland (29). Because of a large number of Covid-19 infections, services were canceled in Dormagen. The offering (12,219 €) was 4.8 percent higher than in 2021.

April 28, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] National Council reviews the design for the new "Gute Nachrichten" website and asks the web design firm in Berlin to make several revisions and additions to the design.

May 5, 2022: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the month of April was 3.3 percent less than last year's income in April 2021. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 25.4 percent of UCG-Germany's income in April.

May 14, 2022: At Sabbath services today the Winterthur, Switzerland congregation of the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] decided to have a regular discussion round after services to comment on the sermon and discuss other Bible topics, using the model for discussion rounds used in other UCG-Germany congregations.

May 25, 2022: Why Does God Allow Suffering, German version The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["UCG-Germany"] prints its 29th booklet, "Warum erlaubt Gott Leiden?" ["Why Does God Allow Suffering"]. PDF and Ebook (epub and mobi) versions of the new booklet are also available online.

June 6, 2022: 134 people met yesterday in six locations in the German-language region for Pentecost. Our service locations were Berlin (8), Dormagen (20), Hamburg (22), Mörfelden (28), Rosenheim (28) and Winterthur, Switzerland (28). The offering in the German-language region was 15,572 €, a 19.3 percent increase in comparison to last year's offering. The offering for the 3 spring Holy Days (Unleavened Bread, Pentecost) was 21.2 percent higher than last year.

June 17, 2022: The May-June issue "Intern" [German version of "United News"] published by the Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["UCG-Germany"] is mailed to 810 subscribers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The circulation goal for "Intern" is 1,000 subscribers in Germany, making a reduced mailing rate possible.

June 27, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another short video commentary, German video commentary Die apokalyptischen Reiter aktuell ["The four horsemen of the apocalypse now"]. UCOG President Paul Kieffer recorded the commentary at the Vereinte Kirche Gottes office near Bonn, Germany.

July 1, 2022: In the first 6 months of the year, UCG-Germany distributed 1975 ebooks via Amazon, the Google Play Store and Smashwords. The most requested booklet was "Das Buch der Offenbarung verständlich erklärt" ["The Book of Revelation Unveiled"] with 575 downloads.

July 8, 2022: German video commentary The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another short video commentary, Die Zukunft Europas ["Europe's future"]. UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete recorded the commentary at his home in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

July 15, 2022: Gute Nachrichten, July 2022 issue The July-August issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9,612 readers in 25 countries, a 4.4 percent decrease from the 2021 July-August issue. The magazine was mailed to 7708 subscribers in Germany, 864 subscribers in Switzerland and 860 subscribers in Austria.

UCOG President Paul Kieffer recorded the commentary at the Vereinte Kirche Gottes office near Bonn, Germany.

Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) contributed 30.4 percent of UCG-Germany's income in July.

August 19, 2022: Despite a special request from the Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"], the German embassy in Yerewan, Armenia is unable to schedule a visa appointment in time for Armenien UCG member Mnazakan Poghossjan to attend this year's Feast of Tabernacles in Titisee, Germany. Mr. Poghassjan was unable to get an appointment himself, so the Vereinte Kirche Gottes contacted the embassy directly and was informed that no appointment would be available for Mr. Poghossjan.

August 26, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces another short video commentary, German video commentary Künstliche Intelligenz: Hilft sie uns wirklich? ["Does Artificial Intelligence Really Help Us?"]. UCOG UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete recorded the commentary at his home in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

September 5, 2022: In the first 8 months of the year, UCG-Germany distributed 3130 ebooks via Amazon, the Google Play Store and Smashwords. The most requested booklet was "Das Buch der Offenbarung verständlich erklärt" ["The Book of Revelation Unveiled"] with 711 downloads.

September 12, 2022: Gute Nachrichten, September 2022 issue The September-October issue of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9,552 readers in 25 countries, a 4.9 percent decrease from the 2021 September-October issue. The magazine was mailed to 7662 subscribers in Germany, 854 subscribers in Switzerland and 857 subscribers in Austria.

September 19, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] German video commentary produces another short video commentary, Die Rückkehr Jesu Christi ["The Return of Jesus Christ"]. UCOG UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete recorded the commentary at his home in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

September 26, 2022: 114 people met at five locations in the German-language region for church services today on the Feast of Trumpets. In Dormagen the attendance was 21. 25 people met in Mörfelden (near Frankfurt), and 26 were in attendance in Winterthur, Switzerland. In Rosenheim the attendance was 31. 11 people attended the afternoon service in Hamburg. The offering in the German-language region was 15,864 €, a 10.4 percent increase in comparison to last year's offering.

October 5, 2022: 80 people met at four locations in the German-language region for church services today on the Day of Atonement. In Dormagen the attendance was 28. 17 people met in Mörfelden (near Frankfurt), 22 were in attendance Munich, and 13 people attended the service in Stuttgart. No hall was available for services in Winterthur, Switzerland. The offering in the German-language region was 13,339 €, 61.1 percent higher in comparison to last year's offering.

October 17, 2022: Today's Last Great Day services conclude the eight day biblical Feast of Tabernacles season, with 148 people from 9 countries having met since October 9 in Titisee in the southern Black Forest. This year there were no Covid-19 restrictions in effect, so the Feast was able to be kept normally for the first time since 2019. We welcomed 10 international guests in Titisee. With the two Holy Day offerings in Titisee, the total offering on the seven annual Holy Days in 2022 was 21.6 percent higher than last year.

October 21, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] German video commentary produces another short video commentary, Der Great Reset [Der große Neustart]. UCOG UCG-Germany elder Martin Fekete recorded the commentary at his home in Oberndorf near Salzburg, Austria.

November 3, 2022: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the first ten months of the year was 5.6 percent less than last year's income for the same period. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) have contributed 16.3 percent of UCG-Germany's income in 2022.

November 11, 2022: The November-December issue of the Gute Nachrichten, November 2022 issue "Gute Nachrichten" magazine is mailed to 9,477 readers in 25 countries, a 5 percent decrease from the 2021 November-December issue. The magazine was mailed to 7614 subscribers in Germany, 841 subscribers in Switzerland and 833 subscribers in Austria. Since the lead article did not have its own corresponding cover image, UCG-Germany provided a suitable image for the magazine cover.

November 21, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] produces its 18th German-language "Beyond Today" telecast, German Beyond Today telecast Wann wurde Jesus geboren? ["When was Jesus born?"]. UCOG President Paul Kieffer recorded the telecast at the United Church of God Home Office in Cincinnati and UCG-Germany did the film editing.

November 30, 2022: In the first 11 months of the year, UCG-Germany distributed 4132 ebooks via Amazon, the Google Play Store and Smashwords. The most requested booklet was "Das Buch der Offenbarung verständlich erklärt" ["The Book of Revelation Unveiled"] with 931 downloads.

December 2, 2022: Donation income for the Vereinte Kirche Gottes [UCG-Germany] for the first eleven months of the year was 8.9 percent less than last year's income for the same period. Coworkers and donors (defined as individuals who provide financial support but do not attend UCG-Germany worship services) have contributed 16.0 percent of UCG-Germany's income in 2022.

December 9, 2022: The UCG-Germany National Council approved budget for 2023 includes total expenses of 318,000 €. Income is projected to be 258,000 €, with the deficit being paid from cash reserves. The budget provides funds to maintain circulation of the "Gute Nachrichten" magazine at 9,500 subscribers and to print two new booklets and reprint two current booklets.

December 17, 2022: For the first time, the Vereinte Kirche Gottes Video sermon ["United Church of God-Germany"] uses the Zoom video service to stream a sermon to a local congregation. UCOG President Paul Kieffer gave the sermon from Mobile, Alabama for the Dormagen congregation.

December 24, 2022: The Vereinte Kirche Gottes ["United Church of God-Germany"] launches its new "Gute Nachrichten" website. A web design company in Berlin was contracted to do the redesign and transfer the more than 1250 articles to the new website, which now features personal accounts and a newsletter.
