The Bible tells us that Jesus can help us because He experienced the things that we experience: "In all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted" (Hebrews 2:17-18). (more…)

Politics can be a hard and sometimes dirty business. During U.S. President Richard Nixon's administration, one of his top advisors, Charles "Chuck" Colson, called himself "Nixon's hatchet man". The president could always rely on Colson, no matter the political objective was. Colson's misplaced loyalty got him a jail sentence for the obstruction of justice during the Watergate affair.
