WNP lecture in Switzerland

Last weekend I visited Switzerland for church services, traveling to Winterthur and Biel.

On Saturday morning my train left the Siegburg Bonn ICE station at 7:12 a.m. I arrived at the Basel Swiss station before noon, and changed trains to travel on to Zürich. Isabelle, Philippe and Pierre Adcock In Zürich I changed trains again to travel the short distance to Winterthur, arriving at 12:30 p.m. A half hour later some members arrived at the station, Isabelle Adcock and her sons Philippe and Pierre (in the photo), Ruth Smith, Rose Marie Lörtscher and a visitor from Ohio, Mary Ann Miller. We walked together to the hall where we had afternoon services with 30 people in attendance. I gave one of my presentations from the June "World News and Prophecy" seminar in Indianapolis. It took a few minutes to get the equipment set up. The main item was an adaptor plug to make sure that my German plugs for my equipment would fit into the Swiss electrical socket at the meeting hall. :-)

After services and some tasty snacks, the group I met at the train station and I traveled west via Zürich and Olten to Biel (Bienne in French). There I spent the night at the "Bären" Hotel. I spent most of Sunday with Isabelle Adcock and her two boys. Rose Marie Lörtscher joined us for lunch. Isabelle once was our babysitter for our son Ted when he was 1 year old, some 30 years ago when I was the pastor of churches in German-speaking Switzerland. Now she is a mom with her own sons to look after. After spending a delightful morning and early afternoon in Biel, I traveled to Basel with Rose Marie, who has an unlimited rail pass for Switzerland and wanted to ride along with me to chat. In Basel we parted ways, as I boarded my train for Siegburg Bonn. The train was on time, and I was home a little after 9 p.m.
