Our grandson Adrian had his third birthday today.

He wanted to blow out the 3 candles on his birthday cake so much that he couldn’t even wait until Mom got out of the way! Adrian is our younger grandson. His brother Sean will be 6 at the end of March, and in a few days Adrian and Sean will have a new brother or sister, since Mom is expecting around the middle of March. Maybe that is why Adrian has been doing some unusual things recently, perhaps in a type of pre-separation separation anxiety since Mom has been more tired than usual in the last days of her pregnancy. When Adrian was in the bathtub last week for a few minutes unattended, he made good use of the Tupperware container he plays with to empty all of the water out of the bathtub, flooding the bathroom and the hallway. Mom and Dad had to set up fans to dry the hardwood floor. Adrian realized he had made a "bad decision", as his Mom calls it, prompting him to ask Mom: "Do you still love me?"

Oma and Opa will soon be in Texas to play with Adrian and brother Sean and help Mom with the housework once the new brother or sister makes his/her debut.
