Feast of Tabernacles 2008, Day 7

Today services began at 2 p.m., following yesterday’s dance evening.

Our dance evening is one of the highlights during the Feast in Schluchsee. For most of our local members, it is one of Schluchsee Feast site the few opportunities during the year – for many it is the only opportunity – to enjoy an evening dance in a positive atmosphere. For the fifth time we were entertained by the duo Enrico and Mario, who pumped out all kinds of dance music from 7:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. The dance is held in the main hall where services are conducted, and tables are set up to accommodate the group. The restaurant "Schwarzwaldstube" right next door to the hall prepares a special menu of drinks and food for us. One of the servers mentioned how surprised she was to see young and old dancing together. I think our dance evening is unique among all UCG Feast sites. With the late – or early! – finish time we had services today on the final day of the Feast of Tabernacles in the afternoon rather than in the morning.
