International Meeting in Cincinnati

Filed under Back in the USA

The format for today’s international meeting was different than in previous years.

In past years the international meeting consisted of the entire group meeting in a single large room, with a variety of subjects on the agenda. This year we had the traditional noon luncheon together and then three breakout sessions with the Home Office operation managers (Media Operations, Administrative and Ministerial Services). Each manager made a brief presentation on what is happening in his area, and then the international elders had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify points. After 45 minutes, the groups rotated, so there were three 45 minute sessions with each group being able to attend each breakout session. It will be interesting to get some feedback re: whether this format was considered more profitable than the one used previously.
