Council of Elder committee meetings will take place on Sunday, which means we drive to Cincinnati today.

We left at 4 a.m. from Mobile, Alabama and completed the 700 mile drive around 12 hours later, having stopped for breakfast along the way and to refuel. We made it to the Holiday Inn Eastgate around 5 p.m. local time, giving us a chance to unload our luggage before meeting some friends for dinner at a nearby restaurant. We got an invitation as a result of my Twitter messages en route, enabling friends in Cincinnati to estimate the time of our arrival.
