New German hymnal (2)

We got word today that the delivery of our new German hymnal will be delayed until next week.

The original delivery date was supposed to be the 24th (Thursday). The hymnal was printed over a week ago and sent from Bonn to Bielefeld, where it is being bound into a hardcover book. The cover material is a type of imitation leather, and it seems that the Bielefeld bindery was given some 20 yards less material than was needed to complete the entire order of 1000 hymnals. The result is a two day delay in production, meaning that the hymnal will now be delivered by next Tuesday (September 29th). After we review the product, we will have 200 copies shipped straight to our Schluchsee Feast site for distribution to our members at the opening night service of the Feast on October 2.
