"Kingdom of God " seminars

The United Church of God-Germany started its next round of "Kingdom of God" seminars yesterday in Munich and Stuttgart.

The first round of seminars were held last fall in Dormagen (near Cologne), Mörfelden (near Frankfurt) and Hamburg. Yesterday’s seminars were held in Munich and Stuttgart. Elder Martin Fekete was our speaker in Munich (photo), Kingdom of God seminar in Munich and elder Alfred Riehle conducted the seminar in Stuttgart. We were again very pleased with the results. In addition to announcing the seminars in our magazine "Gute Nachrichten", we sent an invitation letter to all readers within a 50 km radius of the seminar location. We had 17 visitors in Munich (nearly 6 percent of those invited) and 9 visitors in Stuttgart (about 3 percent of those invited). Both speakers used our two Powerpoint presentations from the first round of seminars, having adapted them to their messages. During the break between the two presentations and afterwards our visitors engaged in lively conversation with our members. At the Stuttgart seminar a couple of visitors were amazed by the Olivet prophecy in Matthew 24, saying that they could not believe Jesus would have predicted such things for the future. Next week a follow-up seminar is scheduled for Mörfelden, and in April we will have a follow-up seminar in Dormagen and our first seminar in Winterthur, Switzerland.
